Mad Men Save Newsweek
In the spring of 2010, Newsweek magazine was put up for sale. In an attempt to make the company more desirable to potential buyers, the staff hired an advertising executive from the year 1963 to pitch his ideas.
On the off chance that Newsweek does go under, I’m thankful that MSNBC snagged Michael Isikoff as their investigative correspondent and Ezra Klein still has a steady job at WaPo. Other than that, I could care less what happens to the magazine.
