brooklynmutt: thegreg: I’ve really liked the non-traditional hosts they have been tapping in recent years, and I think these two would be great… This may very well be a fine choice but I am convinced that Stephen Colbert should get a shot. He’s obviously very funny (not breaking news there) but he is also quick enough to ad-lib. Plus, award shows always ask hosts to do funny dance routines....

Anything past 10 PM for comedy barring FX seems kind of late, doesn’t it?
